SUPPORT UNITS Support units are built by using circular standard air pads, whose performances are described on sheet S02. These are completed with a steel frame and include their support at rest and a throttle valve. Support units are for use with solid loads having flat support faces underneath. A minimum of 3 units is used per load. Bearing surface should be at least half of support area. A pressure regulator is not necessarily required. Example: Tube ID = 19 mm for 4 units Ø 600 on smoothed concrete without joints.
